There isn't a lot of information about this location on the internet. We will try to change that. Why Kings Point Golf? Because that's one of the best features of our community. Do you enjoy the game? If so, then Kings Point, and the Sun City Center area, is golf heaven. Most residents own their own golf carts and the majority of them are electric. No one wants to keep gas cans around when you can just plug in a charger. Sun City Center is one of the few communities that allows residents to drive their golf carts on public streets. Unless you are traveling out of town, your golf cart can take you anywhere you need to go. How much golf? You can ride your golf cart to over 200 holes of golf. Most of the courses are private, but the membership fees are reasonable. Below is a list of the courses, starting inside the gates of Kings Point:

Sandpiper - Original 18 holes designed by Mark Mahanna, additional 9 by Ron Garl 
                    - 27 holes - home of Ben Sutton Golf School
North Lakes - Ron Garl design - 18 hole championship course - 
                           once hosted qualifying rounds for the US Open
                           Closed by WCI in 2009
Caloosa Greens - 18 hole executive
Caloosa Golf & Country Club - 18 hole championship course - membership equity
Freedom Fairways  - 18 hole executive - open to the public

Ruskin Courses

The Golf Club at Cypress Creek - 18 hole executive & 18 hole championship courses - open to the public
The Riverside Golf Club
- Par 70 course established in 1954 open to the public

Apollo Beach Courses

The Apollo Beach Golf Club is the only Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Signature Course on Florida's west coast. Open to the public.
